QP3D have a great range of terrain products for tabletop gaming and I have a large number of them. Always good quality PLA prints (lightweight and durable) with plenty of detail, decent prices and great customer service too...
This tall model would make an excellent wizard's tower or such, having a quirky faux-Gothic design that could work equally well as a brightly painted Fairy Tale sort of place or as a much darker and more sinister structure, depending upon how you paint it...
My little Half Demon sisters in the images represent a 32mm and a 28mm figure respectively, to show scale...
(Sorry the images are a bit cluttered, but there's a ton of stuff under construction/awaiting painting on the tables at the moment)...
The tower comes in nine parts, the assembly of which is completely straightforward. Cyanoacrylate superglue is great for PLA models...
Despite its extreme spindliness and great height, it stands up perfectly happily on any flat surface without any wobbling issues...
The balcony, about halfway up, is just big enough for maybe two small figures. The roof comes off to reveal a room at the top that's big enough to accommodate a few (human-sized) figures on 25mm bases, plus one or two bits of furniture, so long as it's not large and extravagant furniture...
Obviously, in these images, I haven't yet primed let alone painted the model...
As with all the models I've had from QP3D, this is a very robust print, the detail clear and sharp. No clean-up is required save removal of the inevitable occasional stray filament.
Primer applies perfectly to the PLA (I use Vallejo surface primer) and any decent acrylics of choice can be used for painting. (I use Vallejo Game and Reaper Master Series).
Always great service from QP3D in all respects, a seller who cares about their products and their customers, friendly communication, fast fulfilment and delivery of orders, quality models, good value prices. Always reliable. Recommended.
Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We're really glad the tower and our other terrains work so well for your games. It’s great to hear the print quality, details and assembly met your expectations. We truly appreciate your kind words and your continued support. Happy gaming and painting! 😊
The interior looks great too and the sheer size makes for an imposing presence on the game table.
